At Charlotte Sharman music provision is catered for pupils so that they enjoy sustained opportunities from regular classroom work and music making, complimented by additional tuition, partnerships and extra curricular activities. 

 

The curriculum identifies the landmarks of musical understanding, the range of musical styles and traditions including whole class instrumental and vocal programmes improving pupils internalisation through high quality singing and listening. The school prides itself on taking every opportunity to raise standards of singing work by more effectively challenging the musical quality of pupils’ vocal responses.
