High quality teaching of DT at Charlotte Sharman provide children with opportunities to solve problems and design and make things for a particular purpose. Pupils need to think about what the products they are designing and are used for and the needs of those who use them. Pupils will be given opportunities to test, refine and develop the products they design and make, check that they work and improve if they don’t.
