The computing curriculum

Computing

 

At Charlotte Sharman we teach different aspects of computing to all children. These include, eSafety, programming and coding, digital literacy, multimedia, technology in our lives and data handling. Part of that is an emphasis on the pupils gaining a sense of history of technology and the bigger story timeline of what they are learning. 

 

Running through this is the expectation that all teachers ensure children have the requisite skills to ensure they are safe users of technology at all times. We aim to keep up with the latest developments as well as ensuring we are part of the wider community by celebrating events such as World Internet Safety day.
