Our Curriculum Intent

Pupils at Charlotte Sharman Primary School acquire a useful and relevant knowledge of the world, and of a London which reflects their cultural and diverse identity in order for them to independently produce statements, make claims and assert their hypothesis to explain and make sense of their experiences. The aim therefore is that children go out into the world prepared with the vocabulary, cultural experiences and confidence to compete with others for the best of life’s opportunities.

Consultation on the proposed amalgamation of Charlotte Sharman Primary School and St Jude’s Primary School.

Proposed Amalgamation of St Jude’s VA Primary School and Charlotte Sharman Foundation Primary School.

Both St Jude’s and Charlotte Sharman Primary Schools have suffered from falling rolls over the last three years. As a result, the Governing Bodies of both schools have consulted on whether an amalgamation would be an appropriate way forward to ensure the future of primary education in the locality. After much discussion on the Stage 1 Consultation findings (a summary of which is in the Full Proposal attached) the Governing Bodies have decided to begin the Stage 2 Statutory Process. The details of which are also in the Full Proposal.

The Governing Bodies would like to hear from as broad a group of people as possible, their views, concerns or objections. The ways to give your views are at the end of the Full Proposal.
